About
This website is devoted to establishing a new annual celebration in September called Ancestors Day.
Who We Are
We’re a small group of friends and neighbours who live or grew up in Rougemont, Quebec. Our roots in the community go back more than 200 years. Love, remembrance and respect for past generations of family come naturally to a close-knit group such as ours. We started this site after searching for a North American tradition of ancestor remembrance to incorporate into our lives and realizing none existed.
Ancestors Day III will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
Please join us in making this day a special time for remembering and honouring the generations that have lived before us. We encourage everyone to show their respect in their own unique way.
